Default Horrible or Awesome

Villain has done this sort of donk bet before. I think it means he has a least a pair and some draw or maybe a pair and a dry ace of hearts.

I really didn't want to see a heart on the turn, but when it got there I continued on with my plan.

Converter apparently hates this hand (probably since the ft update?) so here it is raw.

a) How is 90% pot a donk bet?

b) What kind of info are you leaving out that gives you the 'pair and a dry ace of hearts' read rather than a combo draw, top set, etc (basically all hands that are at minimum calling the turn and possibly pushing). It seems like you are just giving him a range of hands you beat on the turn.

c) What was your plan? Bluff any scare card?

a)sorry, donk bet is maybe a limit specific term. It is a lead into the pre flop raiser.

b) From seeing this patter once or twice I am making a leap that he is betting any hand that has any sort of equity, which means a lot of semi bluffs. I am guessing at the bottom of his range is pair+gut shot or pair + naked ace of hearts. I think there is a chance he does this even with just a pair, and definitely any two pair hand. I am defititely making these conclusions with insufficient data

c) my plan is to lead out most turns (probably all). I guess the heart isn't that bad since a lot of his hands are going to be 2p hands and straight draws. I figure at worst I look like an idiot and get some extra action on future hands.

I should probably note I have been playing pretty tight this session. I have picked up a few smallish (100-300) pots without a showdown. The only big pot I played was when I was the pfr and got it all in on the flop with bottom 2+nfd vs. overpair + 2nd nfd (and my 2:1 favorite held).

If I decide I must bluff here I usually bet less, €350 or so. Do you have any reason to think that he would or wouldn't play the flop this way with a) the nut flush draw b) a set?

The way you phrased it I thought you were talking about the size of his bet and not that he led into the PFR.

The villain has half his stack invested already (He only has like $195 behind, yeah?). I think the best move is to fold the flop but if for whatever reason you decide to call leading out like this might fold some two pair and worse hands.

disregard my post I thought the guy has 1300 to start the hand. I would lead flop or c/f flop about 50/50.

You really lead flop into 2 players with a underpair + bare straight draw? He doesn't have a flush draw.

I think the stacks are too shallow for this.
