vs. {JJ+, AK} QQ has 48% pre-flop equity, so I don't think calling is wrong. Hellmuth would probably fold thinking he can find better spots against softer players at the table and that's fine too. Villain might see your button raise as a steal attempt and is trying to re-steal, I say call. At the $5 table I'd be more worried if he opened for a min raise and then pushed all in. In fact, I'm not sure I could ever fold QQ preflop at a $5 table not just because I'm more cavalier about the $5, but I know that the $5 players make a lot more mistakes, like overbettting the pot.

i beat him to the pot, unless you have a huge history of raising limps I dont see him limping AA,KK in hopes that someone raises after he limps ESP in late position

Who's playing AA,KK this way? God bless him if he did, but we're seeing scared 77-JJ too much to fold here. Call.

Have you ever read TPFAP? "If you bust, you're busto" (I paraphrased). That means you only get one shot. Calling off your whole stack w/ one pair. Meh. I'll pass and laugh when I have all the chips @ the end of the tournament (meaning, after I've won).

I think I am calling this, I have been seeing players doing this with some strong hands something like AA, or KK, but more often I see smaller pp's and something like AK, KQ, KJ, QJ, and hands like that. People get pissed that you are stealing and think you are doing it with anything and that you will fold to a raise. There are only two hands you don't want to see AA and KK and that is not enough to make me fold. Especially with his stack size.

Hard to call off your whole stack preflop with a flush.
