Not sure if you're kidding. He had a double gutter and He figured he was good for half the pot with any low. Granted, capping the turn seems a little unortho, but he wanted to take down a legend.

Not defending the play, just trying to find the defining line for a bad beat. 2 to 1 Dave?

Ummmmm, u serious here? He thought he had a DS-ed (and I mean "Dead Sexy" not Double-Suited) A,2,3,x here. Turns out one of his suits was dead.

Although preflop odds in plo8 are about as useful as my sister's wooden leg in an ass-kciking contest, let's twodime it anyway:

i actually do beat LO8. here's how: straddle and get dealt 88K6.

preflop: limp, raise, raise, SB calls, BB calls, i call, limper calls, raiser calls. 6 handed for 4 bets.

flop: J83, two diamonds. blinds check, i bet, 2 callers, button raises, blinds call, i 3 bet. everybody calls.

turn: King. i bet, everybody calls.

river: Jack. i bet and get a "it's a big busted draw" call.

that's 29 bets.

I'm back to playing PL again, I guess. We'll see how long it lasts before I go busto.

Funniest part so far: A guy minraising preflop with 9877. Maybe he didn't know it was hi/low.
