Isn't the holy day next Saturday? Also, shouldn't there be a BBV4L atonement thread where apologies could be extended and accepted?

Jews that take this day off then do all the [censored] they shouldn't do on it really pisses me off actually. If it's so important a holiday that you have to take a random weekday off for it, then respect it.
don't drive, talk on the phone, surf the web, watch TV, etc. etc. etc. Just sit in your house with the lights off and drink like you're supposed to while the rest of us are actually working.
