follow the yellow brick road
2/4 6max
villain is bad, but nothing too specific, just too loose villain limps in MP, SB folds, i check Kc6c in BB flop (12): Ac 5c 4d i bet 10, villain calls turn (32): Ad i bet 25, villain raises to 60, i call river (153): As i check, villain bets 90, i call ? looks ok right??? am i completely misreading his hand? |

Re: follow the yellow brick road
He thinks any pair is the nuts here, you put him on 67 exactly I guess.

I really don't understand your reasoning for a call.

Re: follow the yellow brick road
ok, i put him on either Ax or a busted draw. hes fishy yes but i dont think he ever value bets a pair on the river, esp not pair + fd that missed. and thus i beat every draw that missed that bluffs this river.
i just think he bluffs this river far more often than he value bets anything that isnt Ax and theres a ton of draws that missed |

Re: follow the yellow brick road
man dude i don't think so. i'm the king of call downs but i think this is far fetched at best. the first thing is him raising the turn, where NO one bluffs that turn, the second part is that the ace slows people down soooooooooo much. so if he wouldn't raise a turn bet with a draw, and this river looks scary for people to bluff at, i think a call is a thin thin reach.
of course we all agree your hand is the same as 22 here, but that jus dont matta |
