We just suck at the French. We're pretty good everywhere else. I mean, Roddick's goal this time around was just to make it to the second week. It's not really a surprise that he got ousted in the first round to a guy who was top 25 just a couple of years ago. He got the worst first round draw for any seeded player.

Andreev is a very solid player. Anyways, not to be too random, but I think the lack of US competitors in world class tennis is dwarfed by lack of world class US chess players.
