Is there a better way to play this hand as i did?

he was probably calling anyway, but bet more on the turn.

Preflop: re-raise might be a little too high for my liking, unless the player was extremely loose. I would have made it $1.50 pf.

Flop: Fine. Since he called your re-raise on the flop, it seems he either has a set and is trapping you, a Jack + decent kicker (he did play the hand UTG, so I'd say odds of him having 2 pair are low), or another pair 77-TT that he can't let go of?

Turn: I think you have to bet stronger here. You have to bet at least $10 with a strong lean towards folding to a push (maybe caught the T for 2 pair).

River: as played, you have to call. If he's betting so weak, calling here is profitable, imo (as it could be a blocking bet for a guy with a Jack).

Raise to $2.5 pf.

As played 8-9$ on flop.

12-14$ on turn.

Your almost always beat when he bets on the river, but have to call if its that small.
