Why can't i dump the overpairs?!!?

Villain is 34/20/2 over like 80 hands or something. I called preflop this one time for deception. However, i find myself in a little trouble on this flop because his range is now so wide...what do we do here?

I think preflop is fine sometimes, but not against a minraise. It's too likely the blinds will come in.

I prefer just calling his flop 3-bet rather than shoving

im not calling preflop on the button for deception with JJ here we already have a wide range even if we raise. Raise it Up!!

Getting it all in is pretty bad. You have absolutely no idea where you stand in the hand and there is only $6.50 in the pot going to the flop. I dont mind calling in pos with JJ pre but as has been said its not good to do against a min raise. Also against a villain as loose as this id usually reraise pre to get an idea of where i stand.

really bad preflop. you can't flat call the minraise. defo raise it up here.

as played it's ok postflop i spose, although i would just call his 3bet and proceed with caution from then on

also note: the title of your thread sucks. it leads to biased thinking from the posters.

if you said something like 'evaluate my line' then you will get better answers.

we basically know you lost the hand, unless you are tricking us.

provide a post with all the info you had, but with no info about what the results were
