Default Poker In/Near Fort Worth Texas

Subject pretty much says it all... I'll be visiting some family there for the holidays and thought it would be cool to play Texas Hold'em in Texas...

Different rooms and games/limits spread would be great, thanks.

The frenchie knows his stuff. No legal poker in the greatest state.

There is poker in the worst state, right on the border, about 80 minutes or so from Fort Worth.

Trust me, NJ > Oklahoma. It isn't even close.
There are not any legal gambling establishments in Texas, but as others have said, you can drive north on 35 until you hit the OK border and play at the Winstar's new poker room.

Actually, that's wrong. There is one place in Texas that has poker - Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass, TX (2 hrs SW of San Antonio). It's on an Indian reservation...

I had heard the AG's office had closed them down. Do they have a link or any info about their place on the web?

I thought there was some US law that said something to the effect that if a state only allowed the lottery and horse betting, then even indian reservations were prohibited from gambling enterprises within a state.
