half of my play is on FTP, half PS. unfortunately i don't keep track of FPP earn/FPP rate. I spent 700,000FPPs on the main event entry, bought a few things since, and now I have 180,000FPPs lefts.

this is Omaha High Low, and you are correct that variance is supposed to be lower in general. However, I do play an aggressive and streaky style, plus my big downswing actually came from the $5/$10 NLO8 games on Full Tilt which can often be a virtual crapshoot.

Also lost a $1500 pot at $10/$20 PLO8 to Miami John Cernuto in a blind vs. blind cooler. Flop comes down 36T all diamonds, turn comes another Ten, I have 3Txx, he has 6Txx.. unsurprisingly I lose my stack and the rich get richer.

Weird, I opened this thread to ask you how you were doing in that game and if the downswing had anything to do with it. I'm down slightly. Recently it's been running frequently, it seems the donks are being drawn to NLO8 as opposed to PLO8 these days.
