Default 50nl - Small overpair vs an idiot

I'm never too comfortable playing smallish overpairs in these kind of situations. This guy is 23/9/5 over only about 40 hands but I have a note on him that says "RETARD". While I don't remember the specific hand, that label is reserved for people that do something incredibly dumb so chances are he's a very bad player.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $16.55
BB: $50.00
UTG: $39.05
MP: $81.40
Hero (CO): $49.75
BTN: $11.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG raises to $1.50, MP folds, Hero raises to $5.00, BTN folds, SB calls $4.75, BB folds, UTG calls $3.50

Flop: ($15.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, UTG bets $1.50, Hero raises to $14.75, SB folds, UTG calls $13.25

Turn: ($45) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG bets $4.50, Hero raises all-in to $30.00, UTG

I like playing pots in postion against retards, so I usually won't 3bet preflop here with medium pairs (and I consider TT a medium pair).

I'm not trying to push him off whatever crap he might be playing, and I certainly don't want him shoving and pushing me off of my hand. I also don't want to bloat the pot to the point where I'm all in and have no idea if I'm good.

As played, I shove the turn and expect to see a 9, an underpair, or unimproved overcards enough to justify the move.

If you're fairly sure he's a "RETARD" then this is the right play.

To me his minibets on the flop and turn SCREAM of a weak 9 or unimproved overcards.

I think that often retards try the weak lead play, i.e. his bet on the flop when they have something good. His call to your bet on the flop (which was the right size) makes me think that maybe hes got aces or trips. I might check behind on the turn and se what he does on the river.

do you have any justification for believing this? if op has a read saying this guy is bad, putting him on AA or a set here is beyond nitty.
