Default Advanced Seat Taking

Hi,

I'm playing twice a week in the local casino, where I play 10/20 PL w/o max buyin.

In the beginning of the evening almost everyone starts with 500 or 1000, but there is one player who always rebuys for about 15000 (!), when there is just one player with more than 1000 on the table.

He sits on Seat 1 and plays a superloose, superaggro, good postflop game. He always live-straddles (and raises pot after a live straddle and there is no reraise at about 30% rate). He raises pot when its limped to him at a 70% rate.

The whole table is pretty loose and the players limp a lot / call a lot of raises.

What would be the perfect seat in this type of Game? Direct on his left for postflop position? Direct on his right for Limp-Reraising? In the middle?

Help me! =) ty

Good question... I would want him on my immediate left so I always act after the guy. I mean think about getting AA... he makes it 2bb pf ... you limp, 3 more callers, he bets pot, you rr pot, what more could you ask for?? I mean unles the guy stinks or somthen im sitten on his left every time

Edit: 15k? What a douche...

As long as you also did this with things other than AA this may be worthwhile.

I've sat just to the left of very loose players and it has gotten me into trouble. Knowing that they bet light post flop (usually with a PSB), I'll repot trying to isolate them and then getting potted again by someone who crushed the flop.

An argument can be made for sitting on this guys' right. If he's consistently potting post flop, then it is likely that people in front of you will be calling light on the flop (not raising because of the problem mentioned above). Therefore, you can actually raise with lighter holdings if someone just called his PSB on the flop and isolate him (while also getting more money in on the flop due to the caller).

Him on immediate left - 2nd left if he smells real bad :P, as you have field between you and maniac, so you can do a lot of chck raising.

This if decent players notice you are likely to chck raise, then they will give up marginals to you and they need to recognise you act with most information. This also means you get to see whta other solid players do.
