I didn't know that it's you, and even if I did, I don't really have a handle on your stud/8 game. I'm thinking that a big pocket pair is probably in a typical player's range of jamming hands for early on, and many would not go into check-call mode with trips, even heads-up. It was enough to get me to somehow think you didn't have trips. Not that I was shocked when you did.

Looks like 6th and river are the situation where you bet so a worse hand will call you, since you'd call if you checked and they bet. I'd be surprised if you won though. If you did win, then seat three overplayed kings up (or maybe queens and js,ts,9s). If you lost, then you lost to trip queens and not a full house (which would have raised I think).
Seat 3 probably should have raised with trip queens on 6th, but not many people have the guts to do this, even though your low didn't seem to be made (no cap on 5th).

Yeah, that was the other thing--I let him know I wasn't there yet, and yet he checks. Why would he do this if he has trip Queens?

Id probably not raise on fifth, it looks very strongly like he has trips, but maybe with the other guy drawing to a worse low it gives you enough of an overlay, still I'd probably just call.
