Default 25nl - 88 overpair vs a floaty TAG.

Villain is 23/16/2 over a few hundred hands. He floats a lot.

SB: $31.05
BB: $4.75
UTG: $24.30
Hero (BTN): $25.45

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)

this is a very odd line, esp from a villain w decent stats. i think you played it pretty well if you folded the river. just seems like a really marginal spot to get the rest of your stack in.

What the hell is the SB doing here :s
Minraise preflop, minraise flop .. this is plain ugly.

I think you're up against an overpair (try to get a read on what his minbetting means, then take a note)

You should probably fold but if you're feeling frisky then call, suck out and let him cry for beeing the annoying minraiser
