50nl - AA river fold vs. a tag
I'm constructing this from memory because I don't have PT on this comp, so I apologize for the crappy convert. Villain has stats around 19/10/2 over 400 hands.
Me (UTG+1) 100bb Villain (CO) 100bb Im dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, i raise 4bb, CO calls, everyone else folds (six handed) Flop (9.5bb) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet 7bb, CO calls Turn (23.5bb) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet 19bb, CO calls River (61.5bb) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check, Co bets 40bb, I fold. |

i think itīs fine b/c a b/f kind of commits you in this hand on the river. villain isnīt bluffing often enough/ has you beat too often for a call to be profitable b/c fd obv make a big part of villainīs range.

Yeah, I hate folding in situations like that, but my thinking is that if he was calling me down a smaller pair, he checks behind on the river, if he flopped a set he nearly always raises me on the turn, and I just couldn't think of anything else he could reasonable hold besides the flush draw.

Unreasonable he might have something like a straight on the flop here? I think this is an easy fold at this point.

Re: 50nl - AA river fold vs. a tag
Whenever I call river here I regret it. I'd say villain is bluffing less than 5% of the time. Maybe even less than 1% of the time.
