not a fan of preflop, prefer 3-bet or fold even though I dont hate calling.

as for the flop, about anything works, do what you usually do with a set as your first option.

I think I like b/3b more here.
Also prefer to 3bet this hand PF.

in general whenever I have a hand that is not a PP I try to 3-bet or fold preflop, ESP when its HU and I am OOP.

trying to think what his range is and if I am ahead (or have another reason(s)) I raise, otherwise I fold.

AQs looks like a very nice hand but it can be lots of trouble playing that OOP HU vs solid players (esp in single-raised pots) since either you flop TP or nothing most of the time.

problem w/ b3b imo is that people rarely raise your donk bet because they know you're going for a b3b. They're flatting here with AA

thoughts?

I agree, b3b (esp with sets) was a very effective line for like 1-3 years ago. but nowadays ppl in general are very aware of this.

^^really?? flatting with AA on the flop after we donk?? i can't see that tbh unless i misunderstood...

if they do flat, they're giving us a fairly cheap price to draw, right?? that can't be too bad either
