Default in BB staring at AKo early on......2.25FTP

Pretty early on. SB is obvious donk, playing garbage oop. No real reads on anyone else yet.

Full Tilt Poker 2.25sng
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t30/t60
8 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t2170
UTG+1: t820
MP1: t2735
MP2: t840
CO: t3265
Button: t1765
SB: t570
Hero: t1335

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG raises to t210, 3 folds, CO calls t210 (pot was t300), Button folds, SB raises all-in t570, Hero??

At this level is it OK to shove?

I need help in this situation, I lean towards a fold, but is that too weak?

I like shoving here, you are easily ahead of SBs range and ahead of UTG's and CO's as well. Also there is a ton of overlay, no way I'm folding here.

This is why I hate AK, it is just a drawing hand (no flaming I know it's still strong) and with that many people in you are certainly up against at least one PP and maybe two. While you discount SB is range is probably A rag and any pair, the UTG rasie would also suggest a pretty good hand since he is OOP with the big stacks still to go, the CO knowing UTG strength called so he probably feels good about his hand. I just don't think you isolate the SB which is really what you are hoping for with a shove (I don't think you really want a 4 way pot with AK).

I usually call and wait for the flop, which is probably the worst play and why I stink.

My guess would be the experts say shove > fold > call.

If youre better than your opponets folding isnt terrible. Especaily with a big raise from utg repping big strength. If you arent better than your 2.25 opponets (especially at endgame pushing) then push EVERY TIME.

Can a push here be considered +EV?
I really do not know.... I hate racing pp's this early in a sng.

I do pretty well on the bubble for the most part, I am just trying to find out if the community thinks a fold here is weak.

For what it's worth all my chips ended up in the middle PreFlop, so I don't agree or disagree, I just wanted some insight.
