Step 5 - CL vs second in chips - QQ hand
Guys
Here's the drill. 6 left in step 5, I'm CL. With 4000 chips. Big joe is immediately to my right and second in chips with about 3200. Payouts are top 2 go to step 6 (2100), 3 and 4 get redo (730) and 5 and 6 get step 4 (215 value). Bigjoe and I have min exp together. I've played several steps with him. Sucked out on him when he flat called an all in and I pushed with aq to iso and he had kk. Early in this one, he was short and shoved on my bb and i called with kq and he sucked out with j3o. My read on him is that he is very TAG - and wont put his chips at risk unnecessarily. from an overall table perspective, i have more sng experience and better stats then all cept joe I get qq in bb. Folds to cutoff who jams his last 800. Bigjoe repops to 2700. CaLl or fold here? My take is I win this I have 8k in chips and guaranteed a step 6. Lose and I have 800 chips and prob a trip to step 4. Fold and I still have a good shot at step 6. I also think the reraise implied a very good hand, but not a premium In any case, do you instacall this? what range do you put Joe on here? after the fact i did some ICM calculations on this and it shows i need approx 55% equity to make this call. First instinct says of course call, dont be results oriented, etc, but I think this is very close. Wn |

Re: Step 5 - CL vs second in chips - QQ hand
Before he flats KK, and now he is reraising. I cant see it being a weak hand, but I doubt its KK/AA
Also - he is making it 2700 with a 3200 stack? I get it in here |

Yeah, get it in. If they don't push, I assume they're trying some ghey fold-you-out play and QQ is going to be killing his range.
