Which of those threads would be popular within BBV4L? Seems like many are things that BBVers aren't really interested in discussing, so why force it on them? EDF by design gets 2-5 new threads per day. Most of these threads either wouldn't work there or would be completely different than the way they develop in OOT. This is why OOT exists imo.

It could be any number of things but anything that is geared to moving the forum to a better place, but, for example: changes instigated by the mods in order to address either concerns of regulars/observers, or actively engaging with respected regulars to figure out what they think is wrong/needs fixing.

The perception by many posters is it's got nitty, arbitrary rules and is run by nitty arbitrary mods (a view which is admittedly biased, cos the dissatisfied are noisier than the happy, of course).

Whatever, the focus should be regulars first, then how to get and keep new blood second, IMHO.

Why don't you ask your regulars if they've got any comments on how it is right now, and how it might be improved?

I have no problem with punishing bbvers who act like [censored] in OOT. OOT has oot rules and they need to abide by your norms when they are there.

If it is repeated I don't see a problem with a permaban.
