I'm sure nobody here could possibly have missed this fact, but I figured, you know...better safe than sorry!

GG Allin and The Murder Junkies were a band worthy of note, notwithstanding all of the media nonsense and whatnot...definitely worth noticing.

I have owned this on VHS for a long time, and consider it one of the more useful items in my video library, along with Salo and the entire Target Video catalog.

Sometimes, it's important to see not only how other people live, but exactly what they're willing to do, for misguided purposes or otherwise.

I had never heard of GG Allin until opening this thread and clicking the link.

At first, I thought I was being leveled. "GG Allin" sounds like what you'd read in the chat box at a PokerStars table, so I first thought that "GG Allin" was a gag spilling out of BBV.

I decided to Wiki "GG Allin", and unless that entire Wiki page is part of the gag, I guess this is real.

Now that we've established that, I wonder if I was ever young enough to think that anything I just saw/read could be cool.

GG Allin was a lot of fun to have around. He was a fantastic Springer guest, would talk about women needing to be raped, shove a banana up his ass, fight everyone in the room, and end up covered in blood and poop and semen. A lot of people talk a nihilistic philosophy, and all of these people can go jump in a lake, but he lived one out loud and I respect him for that.

Great movie. It's crazy to think that director Todd Phillips went on to have such a successful mainstream film career career after this debut. (Less surprising is his poker success.)
