big draw OOP, jam flop? (5/10)

villain here is loose/bad, opens pretty light. I doubt he is paying attention to me but if he was, my image is LAG b/c we were shorthanded for a while.

is pre a fold nonetheless? and is jamming the flop OK given strength of my draw/desire to increase fold equity on later streets?

This is the problem with capping it on the flop. You got a little more money in as a favorite, but now you have to put money extra money in as an underdog.

Once he three bets the flop, you don't have to worry about fold equity anymore, unless you know he goes nuts, then folds later. I think that calling the threebet, and then checkraising when you get there is the best approach.

it's pretty close but once he 3bets just calling the flop is better imo. it's as bob said - you're out of position which hurts a lot here. a nonzero percentage of the time villain has a higher flushdraw as well.

I totally agree with this.

I fold preflop but add in another bad player (or multiple players of any skill) and then I play.

I'd fold preflop against an UTG, UTG+1 raise. From CO or Button I am playing.

You don't have any fold equity, so I don't know why we are paying two on a blank turn (which will happen if you bet)
