Default I\'m having trouble defining PokerTracker statistics

I am new to PokerTracker and am having lots of trouble gaining an exact definition for some of the PT stats.

The stat that is giving me most trouble is 'Att. To Steal Blinds'. What exactly does this mean? PokerTracker defines it as the "percentage of times a player attempted to steal the blinds when the opportunity to steal came up". But this definition is obviously problematic. Does it mean the percenatage of times a player open raises? Does it mean the percentage of times a person open raises from late position? If so, what is regarded late position? Does it mean something different to this?

There are other statistics that are similarly difficult to understand.

I think its extremely important to understand what statistics mean before I examine play properly. I have already asked PokerTracker support and they were unable to help me.

Does anyone here know an exact definition of 'Att. To Steal Blinds'? Does anyoneone know where I can look at more precise definitions of PT statistics?

Any answers greatly appreciated.

Itīs defenitely an openraise from late position, so CO or Button.

This may help: How to use PokerTracker (from SSNL forum)

"Att to steal blinds" refers to open-raises from CO or Button.

Thanks for the response guys. I hoped that was what it meant. It makes the most sense. Thanks for the link fabadam. I hadn't seen that before.

Oops. I've looked into this further. Actually, you guys were mistaken. 'Att. To Steal Blinds' actually means the percentage of times a player open raises from cut-off, button and small blind.

That's probably right, insofar as that I open-raise from the SB on any 2 when I feel like it as well.
