I just read about that today. I was in a 20,000 sq. ft house one time and it felt like a [censored] mall. That place has to be so sick. The funny part is he razed a $2 million dollar house like it was a shack to build it. As a Cavs fan I was happy that it will be hard to leave that place when other teams come calling again in a few years.

Article says Tom Bader is an immediate neighbor. Look up Thomas Bader in Akron and find he lives on 145 Harvest Dr. Google to that and look around and we find this:

Further evidence, the article says he bought an 11BR house to build his mansion on. Use zillow and click on this house and it claims it's 11bd/8.5ba/12,611 sqft (estimated value $927K...says he bought it for $2.1M in the article, so Zillow is a bit off). And a check of sales history shows this beauty sold for $2,100,000 on 10/28/2003. 2005 property tax assessment was $28,808. 5.59 acres.

This is the old house in the photo. Compared to the homes around, I'd say this photo looks to be like about a 12K sqft home rather than 35K sqft. And the article says the new house won't be finished until next year. But this is very likely the spot. 4157 Idlebrook Dr, Akron, OH 44333
