USAA (I'll add to the praise: rebates when the company does well)
Coca Cola (even though the stock didnt go back up until I had to sell it to pay for school)
Nintendo and Sega
Wordpress
HBO

[/ QUOTE ]

After quite a few endorsements for USAA(which I had never heard of)I looked the company up and it seems to be only available to military and former military. Am I right in this assumption?

you are, but you can often sneek in if a family member was military.

My father got remarried when I was 19. My stepmother's father was a vet, she had USAA. Put my Dad and me on it. Now I'm 31 and still have USAA. Once you get it, don't ever let go.

I have my auto insurance, homeowners insurance and mortgages through USAA.

donkey, as ding-dong said, it's available to family of military also. My Dad retired from the Navy in '76, before I was even old enough to drive, and I've had USAA from the get-go. If you have ANY military or former in your extended family, call them and have the conversation.

Do internets count as companies? I guess, if they make moneys.

Amazon i'll get behind, didn't think about how much I use them. However, they never refunded me for a pair of headphones i sent back to them. One black mark.

Whole Earth - great organic foods at reasonable prices.

the UK National Health Service - rock on, social welfare.

Acer laptops - reliable, excellent specs at great prices and a superb CS department.

STA travel - an excellent chain of travel "agents" who provide helpful information and are even available by e-mail when you travel. Super low prices for under-26s.

Clowns, Sadivino - local cafes we frequent which are excellent. I love them even though they are wee.
