Chair,

What part of town will you be in? How mobile will you be?

I've never been to Nashville but http://yelp.com is a lot better than citysearch for stuff like this.

This is awesome. I've been hating citysearch and the its uptight, ignorant reviews. Thanks for the new site!

OTB - def no hot girl...unless by hot you meant grizzled old man and hippy-cashier/server.

Short-TR...

Arrived just before closing (7pm wtf!!!) phewwwwwww. Got 1 lbs of the pulled pork, 1 small thing of hot-BBQ sauce and 1 of xhot-BBQ, 1 pint of special white-BBQ sauce. It came with a cup of pickles...nice touch...total ~$15 or 16.

The meat is WOW.
The white-BBQ is WOW.
The hot and xhot are v. MEH (take that with a grain of salt b/c I am a huge fan of vinegar-based sauce and this is v. tomato-based)

Meat + whiteBBQ + xhotBBQ = ultimate combo

sorry no pics.

Chair,

Of those places on the BBQ list, I really like Hog Heaven and Judge Bean's. Hog Heaven isn't a place you could take a client (unless he liked slumming it), even though the food is awesome. You'd literally be eating on a screened in porch, but it's the best BBQ in Nashville. Judge Bean's is someplace you could take a client, but it's just not quite as good.

Hog Heaven

Judge Bean's

Some other places I really like:

The Boundry

Excellent tapas, nice atmosphere, good place for a business-type dinner or a date.

Midtown Cafe

Seriously underrated on all these review sites, IMO. I've always loved this place.

Restaurant Zola

My favorite "nice" place in Nashville. I've been quite a few times, and it's never been anything short of excellent.

South Street

My favorite "casual" place. It's a treehouse, they've got great food (good pulled BBQ pork), and a fun atmosphere.

If I think of any others, I'll post them. I think you'd like any of these, though, and they all offer something a little different.

Tin Angel, on West End Ave., is my go-to recommendation for excellent mid-range food.

Is this some sort of slang I've never heard before or is this place actually built in a tree?
