Default [100nl] Deepstacked with underboat, stack off?

Villain is 27/11/1 after 200 hands. Check on the flop was accidental 16-tabling mishap, normally I would have led out a cbet sized bet.

Full Tilt Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed) Hand History converter Courtesy of PokerZion.com

UTG ($68.45)
UTG+1 ($91.60)
Hero ($246.10)
MP2 ($155.15)
MP3 ($44.85)
CO ($44.85)
Button ($15)
SB ($53.65)
BB ($42.65)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Hero checks, MP2 checks.

So what does villian have - kq or ak? I cant find any other possibilities after he flat calls your raise preflop.
Would villian re-raise with ak pre flop?
Hard to lay down bottom set but low aggression factor may help u.
I think I stack off but see kq a lot here.

I think this depends a lot on how villain sees you. How are you running? You would usually expect a villain with these stats to reraise QQ pre so that would rule that out. But if your an absolute rock they may just flat call with it. If you can rule out QQ out i think its a call as you will see villain show up with AK, KJ, K10 or even K9s enough to make it a profitable call. He will show up with KQ sometimes but i would expect most villains with these stats to bet it on the flop when you check to them.

Failing all that just river the 5 to Quad up

This is a lone K enough to make this profitable IMO. Plus he probably thinks you don't have a K since you would have bet that on the flop.

Wow, I see your concern, if he had top pair King on the flop then it would be pretty strange for him to check behind, but if he had KQ it would make alot more sense or QQ...

Of course maybe your check on the flop threw him a bit because he was expecting a C-Bet and he has AQ and just doesn't believe you have a King. This seems like a far fetched scenario though.

I'd probably stack off here, but i'd probably be wrong to do so.

this is a tough spot. i wish you had bet the flop, then if raised you could have 3/bet and got it in easier.

i don't agree that if you had a K you would have always bet the flop. Checking this flop is fine, it's dry and you're not getting too much value out of worse hands with your AK unless villain is truly horrible.

that being said when you 3/bet villain, you are saying you have a K or better, and when he 4/bets you...i think you're smoked.

if you only had 100 bb i think this is an easy call...150 it's a hard fold, 200 bb i think i could fold it.

27/11...KQ is right in his range. it's unfortunate that's the only hand you are losing to (reasonably).

Personally I think its hard to find a clear winner here between shove and fold. Its awful hard to fold your hand here and a good amount of the time you'll see KJ K10 AK. It would be an impressive fold - don't think I could do it.

Interesting hand.

Easy shove. Eh, occasionally he'll have KQ, QQ, but shoving is definitely +EV. This is not a tournament.
