Default Four Winds - New Buffalo.

I heard it is due to open early August. Anyone planning on checking it out? Suppposedly the WPT folks are running the poker room?

If you're hot to get there at opening, the official opening is at midnight, but the doors will actually open at 10 pm if you're interested. And everybody I've talked to that works there says it's all electronic tables.

electronic tables? i'm not so sure about that. last time i was at soaring eagle the dealer said they were losing a lot of dealers to the casino in new buffalo. maybe they'll just be doing blackjack and roulette?

Early reports I have heard is that the poker room will be all e-tables as well. I have no idea what kind of games they will spread but I will probally be there sometime in the first week or two to check it out.

That's interesting. I wonder how that will be received? I hear they have a person working there that used to be at Greektown poker room. If that's the case I feel so sorry for you new buffalo folks since nothing good ever came out of there.

The official opening is Thursday, August 2 at noon. It is a WPT-affiliated poker room, but no details have been released yet on when a WPT event will be there.

I've never heard of an electronic table.

I'm trying to get a hold of the poker room managers for more information, but haven't gotten anybody who knows anything specific so far.

If the tables are all electronic, I guess I'll still have to drive to the Resorts, that really sucks, I thought I was gonna save some travel time.
