Default Argosy Casino, Lawrenceburg, In Screwed out of my seat, O/8

Somehow after driving two hours, waiting and hour and a half for them to finally start the game, I discovered I didn't have a seat. I had been rolled over on a waiting list for a game that wasn't running.

I am not 100% sure how it happened but they will never do that to me again. I am no longer going to make the four hour round trip to play 0/8 at Argosy on Wednesday.

What was the reason they gave you, for rolling you over on the list?

I don't see how you can be rolled on a game that hasn't started. If you are there when they call you you get a seat, if you aren't there you should be erased.

I gave Terry, one of the floormen a really nice cigar a few weeks ago. I don't think he was there last night. At the moment, I wouldn't pee on them if they were on fire.

Apparently, I was left on the list as a call in and you can only be on the list as a call in for one hour. Even though I checked in and got a food comp, I wasn't officially there so they put me at the bottom of the list. The game always starts around 5 PM. They didn't start it until after 6 so my time expired. Foolish me, I should have realized, I wasn't officially there.

I am officially not there on a Wednesday evening ever again, so we won't have to worry about this ever happening again.

Paper list or electronic? I got dropped off of a paper waitlist once when the new floor/brush transferred the last shift's list to a new page since one of the game columns was full. When the game started I went over to sit down, no seat. The old list is gone. The guy I signed up with is gone. This is why I prefer electronic lists. At least then I can monitor the list and make sure I'm where I should be.

I got the impression, he wouldn't have known the difference. I can't remember what I gave him, something middle of the road, I'm sure. I give snuffdip good cigars because he knows the difference. Its a sin to give a really good cigar to someone that doesn't smoke or doesn't smoke enough to appreciate what they have.

PS. I smoked an Anejo Shark and almost had an orgasm. For the people that need to Google, that is a Fuente Anejo #77, commonly called the shark, but I don't know why, it didn't bite at all.
