Default Softer 100NL, stars or ftp?

Currently playing on stars and will soon reach my fpp goal.

Wondering what site is easier/softer, because I'm thinking about moving to ftp for rakeback.

Anyone played on both recently, thoughts on each?

if you play enough you should stay at stars because its better RB then FT

Right now I can only make ~40k hands per month because I'm working full time. FPP goal is 58k.

Come Jan/Feb I'll be playing well over 100k hands per month

i disagree. i don't wanna repeat the debate about this that occurs occasionally on here, but you just state it as fact and i don't think it is.

OP can search for those previous debates and decide for himself, but i think it's fair that he knows that many people prefer to have the $ each month instead of points or whatever, and i'm one.

I'm also curious as to which site is better for RB.

@ stars 100NL players can earn ~0.37vpp/hand. At supernova level this is 0.37 * 3.5 = 1.295 fpp/hand. Using the $1500 bonus @ 100k fpps this equates to $0.019425/hand.

fiz, what is rakeback in $/hand at FTP nl100 ?

okay but you always forget that if you play FT you get 27 % RB i did not get any reload bonuses or anything else.
if you play on stars you get the weekly freerolls, millstones (if you reach),and if you dont buy the bonuses and buy the tournament tickets instead you get much more.

RB vs FPPs is irrelevant unless you're deliberately playing a breakeven strategy. The difference is negligible compared to what the OP asked about, which is the softness of the games. Even if the FPP system equates to RB as much as 5% off of fulltilt's RB (i.e. RB of 22% or 32% compared to FTP's 27%), it winds up being a difference of about .05 ptBB/100. The playing ability of your opponents may make a difference of 50 times that.
