Default I can tie at best.

Villian in this hand is tight and tricky. He might be one of you. At any rate, he's certainly not a moron and has a decent game/respect for mine.

20/40 at the Borg. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button.

He raises in EP, two calls, I 3-bet, blinds fold, he calls, limpers call.

Flop:

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checks to me, I bet, he C/R, one limper calls two cold, one fold, I call.

Turn: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

He bets, limper folds, I raise, he 3-bets, I call.

River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He checks, I bet?

If he is decent, this is a fine line. If he is less than decent, I 4-bet the turn and expect to beat the underfull a good deal of the time.

4-bet the turn. You're most likely chopping against KQ. But he never ever ever has quads here, since checkraising quads to blow away the field on the flop is about the worst play imaginable. If you just call the turn, then the river is an obvious bet -- not sure why you have a question mark there.

"4-bet the turn. "

spew -- yeah c/r quads on the flop is retarded but not nearly as dumb as 3betting the turn with Tx.

also pretty obvious after the fact what happened on the river but what can you do. I bet/call too.

You got the hand wrong, it was a K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the turn.

I don't know if this is sarcasm or not. I just thought it added another element to the turn and river play.

ok I won't comment. But I was sitting next to OP and saw this hand. And remember thinking that the added flush draw gave a new possibility of a very tricky AQ[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]QJ[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] combos.

(what else goes wild on the turn and then just gives up on the river? Certainly not a K.)

because K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] doesn't have a flush draw ?
