Dump aces after lots of action?
I have AA UTG in a good 10/20 game at the Borg. SB is tight, but can be a little erratic with flop betting. He slows down on big streets unless he has something more reasonable. MP1 is tightish and pretty straightfoward.
I raise, MP1 calls, 2 calls, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: K87r SB leads out, I raise, MP1 3-bets, two folds, SB caps, I scratch my head and call, MP1 calls. Turn: 9 completing rainbow SB leads out, I call (?), MP1 raises, we both call. River: 5 SB donks again. My action? |

Re: Dump aces after lots of action?
I think he most likely has one pair beat here about 99% of the time.

Definately fold the river, especially with a player behind that has shown strength. What are you gonna do if he raises again?
I think I'd probably fold this after MP1 raises and the SB calls on the turn |

Re: Dump aces after lots of action?
I am not good enough/the players I see are not good enough that I can lay this hand down. I think you're almost certainly beaten by MP1, but the possibility that they both have hugely overplayed AK/KQ gets me to call at least one more river bet. The additional possibility that SB has AK/KQ and MP1 has 87 to give you a few more outs with the 9 makes me call the turn with the huge pot. I dunno, I think you're beat by at least one set, but I crying call, expecting a big king from the SB and two pair or a set from MP1.

Re: Dump aces after lots of action?
MP1 isn't raising this turn with 1 pair, and if he's tight he can't have 2 pair so you probably only have 2 outs. I'd fold to the turn raise.
As played easy river fold. |
