Default Re: Is this flop push standard?

I always push this flop also, but is there any merit to check/raising all in against an aggro opponent, who might put it all in with any 2 in this spot after you checked to him?

I don't think there is. There are certainly worse plays, but given that he called a preflop raise, there's a good chance this flop hit him at least a little bit. If we c/r here, he's obviously going to be pot committed to call with whatever he has, and given that we have a great draw but not a made hand, I'd rather just take it down right here.

The question is ridiculous. This is not at all close. You have a strong draw and you would like to get allin on the flop even with deep money.

Of course, push any flop. I would probably push preflop, but I think the preflop raise is fine.

Default the real question is do you call with 98 with the 8 of clubs?

after calling the bet you would have just over 1k in chips, do you call? just a little more info on the Hero. Hero was raising a lot from late position. Hero pushed in very quick. And Hero was talking way too much.
