Re: 2007 PGA Tour / Fed-X Cup Thread
My dawg Vijay grinded it out. Attaboy Veej. Plus he FINALLY returned to the long putter/cross-handed grip that made him so successful prior to his inexplicable regression to standard putter/grip in the 2005 PGA at Whistling Straits (which he won and which delayed the inevitable).
Also, gonna point out again what an awesome decision it was moving The Players to May - past March Madness, beyond the start of baseball season, after the glare of The Masters, into the previously golf dead zone of May, into warmer weather. Plus it makes us anticipate it that much more. |

Re: 2007 PGA Tour / Fed-X Cup Thread
tiger gets the lead at -12 then goes bogey-bogey to finish the round. is this usually expected from tiger? wtf.
still nice grind out to save bogey on the 18th to get into the last group with the crazy nutbag Rory!! |

Re: 2007 PGA Tour / Fed-X Cup Thread
Oberholser and Sabbatini are 2 of a select few players who could blow Tiger out if they get hot. Both have show the ability to go low and win tournaments. I think this could end up being the most entertaining Sunday of the year. Of course there's an equal chance it's another Tiger runaway victory too, but I look forward to seeing how Rory does... He's been my boy ever since he showed Ben Crane what the world thinks of slow assed golfers.
