persuasive speech to college students
I need help picking a topic for a persuasive speech. I am terrible at deciding what a good topic would be, but once I have one, I can write it just fine. It can't be anything that's been overdone (abortion, gun control, death penalty, etc.) It should be relatable to the audience in some way (college students). Also, it needs to be researchable because I'm going to need to cite 4 sources.
I don't know if this is going to produce any results, but I thought I'd ask anyways, and OOT has been asked for help on much more retarded things than this. So if you have any interesting ideas, I'd appreciate it. |

the most relevant and useful I think would be giving a speech on study habits and techniques. If done properly this speech could be very interesting.
as bison said something to do with sex, like sexual attraction and the differences between men and women in selecting partners. 3rd) speech on light vs dark beer |

[/ QUOTE ] I did an informative speech on "How to be the Perfect Housewife" (which could also be persuasive if you change the tone a little bit) - my 3 points were 1) know how to cook/clean/entertain, 2) stay attractive, and 3) keep up the sex life, with details on roadhead and reverse cowgirl. i got an a : ) i'm not sure if it would work as well coming from a boy, but it was really easy to find sources (martha stewart.com, a ton of books i already owned on entertaining and personal skills...) and totally unique. good luck! |
