Default Is it ok to expose a scammer with \'mod only information\'?

Poster donkontilt4u in THIS THREAD is claiming PokerStars incorrectly locked his account. He claims he has never posted on Two Plus Two. His account HERE and poster cgibson777's account HERE were both created from the same ip address. Is it ok to post the information that both ip addresses match up? This is information that only mods and admins could obtain.

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn

I apologize for doing that if the word is I shouldn't, BTW - it was too funny to pass up, but I understand if it's a problem.

No problem here. I also noted those ip addresses were the same. I was just going to check but thought it would be ok. Some scammers just aren't too bright!

Thank you,

I see no problem saying that the IP Addresses are the same, as long as I don't type what the IP Address is.

People need to know if he is scamming.

[/ QUOTE ]I think this amount of information would be too much if it was to reveal a gimmick account holder. But I agree that it's fine to reveal a scammer.

I think there are times where it's fine to out someone's gimmick account if they are using it for abusive or crappy purposes, but in general I agree.
