sometimes guys just go nuts and bet/raise any two or one pair or whatever. We have to have specific knowledge he's doing that before raising without a flush. Absent that information and only knowing he's a massive LAGfish his line still screams "that river helped me so much that I no longer care that you've bet/raised at every oppurtunity."

I keep thinking you have JJJ, bc I have played this hand 200 times against more aggro opponents and I 3bet all day. Against this opponent it is a significant mistake to do anything other than call.

[/ QUOTE ] I suppose I agree when you have a guy with a 71 vpip. Obviously, not all his synapses are firing. This one of those cases where the guy probably didn't know whether he was bluffing or value raising.

JT,
Nice to see you joining the meow chow ranks. Can you kindly tell us how many hands you had on this guy at the time? Before everyone interprets/misinterprets these stats can we get an idea if they are real? BTW, you don't need to report the pfr and VPIP to the decimal level. AGG factor you do. Nobody ever made a decision that they raise a player with a 76 VPIP but not a player with a 75.6 VPIP. If you are using HUD that will clean it up a bit too so it is more pleasing to the eye.
