Default 50NL: QQ multiway gets c/mr

Villain is unknown.

Thoughts on all streets appreciated.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

SB: $3
BB: $41.45
Hero (UTG): $50
MP: $41.40
CO: $56.30
BTN: $13.80

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $1.75, MP folds, CO calls $1.75, 2 folds, BB calls $1.25

Flop: ($5.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, CO folds, BB raises to $8, Hero calls $4

Ugh, I hate getting c/mr. It's usually a very strong hand. Obviously I'm worried about a set here. I can easily see pushing here, sometimes I do but I decided to play it a little slower to see what happens.

Turn: ($21.50) J (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Villain's check is strange. At this point I'm putting him on a draw, or maybe a weaker pair. I probably should bet $15 here and call a shove. Although I'm not really sure if I'm betting for value or not.

River: ($21.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets $8, Hero calls $8

Aside from the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] that's pretty much the worst card in the deck. I really thought about folding here. His bet seemed like a suck bet. With the odds against an unknown I decided to make the call though.

I am shoving flop. The board is so draw heavy and the min c/r on this board can just as easily be a pocket pair or draw. Assuming you choose not to do that, once you get to this turn and he checks, I am betting it strong. Something in the range of 15.

I reraise flop. If you choose to just call the flop and see the turn, you MUST bet this turn big, like 16 or 17.

When he checks the turn, he's giving you every right to bet for value. Since you flatted the flop, you gotta bet for protection and value, somewhere in the range of 14-16 is enough to get value from draws without folding out like 87 or 97.

As played, the river is pretty marginal, but I like calling and making a note of how he played this hand. But yeah your mistake was on the turn.

it's better to get it in on the the turn then the flop. You're equity increases against his range. I also think it's good to play cautiously when an unknown shows strength on this board and you don't have a relatively huge hand.

When he checks the turn his range is less weighted towards monsters and more towards pairs/draws/air. So you should bet

Okay, seems like shoving flop or betting the turn are both good. I knew I should have bet the turn, I just chickened out. Surprisingly, villain showed AQo on the river.
