I personally prefer to call and play after the turn in this spot; sucks to be up against an Ace-high flush draw that paired the flop in this spot and isn't going anywhere after their raise.

Not true at all. Against 2 pair w/o nfd hero has 15 outs. Plus Hero has blockers to straight redraws for villian.

Absolutely true at all. Hero doesn't want 2 pair to call. Hero makes more from villain folding 2 pair than calling with 2 pair.

i just figured we are better than two pairs

What was the turn card? If I call the flop here, it's with the intention of calling any turn that doesn't pair the board, not with the intention of folding a blank.

Yarr, you might as well fold the flop if you're going to fold the turn for a less than pot-sized bet
