Default ($24) A8s vs. a chronic minraise on the bubble

The villain is pretty loose and has been minraising a lot from various positions lately.

No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t250/t500
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t2680
Button: t5140
SB: t2280
Hero: t3400

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I kind of like a stop and go here. However, I dont handle that very well, atleast I think I dont atm. The reason why I like that is I see us having no FE here. However, if I hit the flop I can see myself checking hoping to get ihm to get all in or c/r all in.

As I pointed out, the stop and go isnt really one of the moves I handle well.

Also, I would probably fold preflop against any villains except this one.

vs loose opponents I see no problem with re-raising here.

Use a stop n go to gain extra FE when you have none. Its the bubble and we have villian covered how much more FE do u need.

This is a shove Pre especially with OP read.

I'd be more inclined to shove against someone who knows icm well, since a call without AA or KK would be -$EV.

I guess if you feel he wont throw away small pocketpairs and typical overestimated maniac hands you could go for stop and go.

ppl minraise here as an attempt to steal the blinds and fold to a shove allllll the time, for the record.
