Default $11 bubble hand

Is this one of those weird situations where a bubble limp is ok? Call the push?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button (t4923)
SB (t225)
BB (t6802)
Hero (t1550)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero calls t150, 1 fold, SB raises to t225, BB raises to t6802, Hero calls t1400 (All-In).

I definitely wouldn't call the push. You're 45% at absolute best.

works for me (once again with the caveat that i suck at only losing if shortie beats us both & biggie beats me).

My reasoning was that I have to lose to both to not make the money. So I might win outright 35% - 45% of the time but will beat at least one maybe 70 - 80%? Is it worth it?

oops I overlooked that I can lose to both and still make the money as long as bigstack beats shortie. This makes decision alot easier, thanks.

You should have pushed instead of called. You pretty much know that SB is calling. Being involved in the pot isn't a bad decision, but calling that raise I'm not a big fan of.

kinda of a cool hand. pushing on the surface doesn't look too bad. but with only 225 chips, a SB just might pass on this one with some pipe dream that biggie BB looks you up. it's only a "good" push if SB comes along.

OP minraising might serve a little better in committing shortie before BB shoves over. had SB just completed, we'll have spewed some.

But isn't it a disaster if I push and button calls? I know it wont happen often but SB can then fold any 2. Less likely is SB folds button calls, but this is just as horrible.

this is a interesting hand. i think the limp/call is fine here b/c if you push you might shut the sb out and you don't want to be all-in against one of the bigger stacks flipping at best. once you have the SB in i think you're good to go.

I only see the SB folding if the button calls the push. And I only see the button calling with a very good hand. Button doesn't want to take an unnecessary risk trying to knock hero out while the SB is on the verge of being a spectator.
