$6.50: 99 UTG open fold?
No reads. I hate all my options here. Basically, either raise to 250-300, or fold. I'm nitty so I folded to stay out of trouble and preserve my stack, but what is your standard play? If raising, who are you calling pushes from?

Re: $6.50: 99 UTG open fold?
I wouldnt fold this here. I would hope for a read, is the table likely to RR behind you? I would prob raise to 300 and go from there. I would prob only call a PUSH from the button.

t250 and readless only button gets a call. Folding isn't terrible and if you have a tendency to [censored] up post-flop it's probably a good idea.

Re: $6.50: 99 UTG open fold?
I don't raise here. I limp and call with 99 in middle position. Especially with the short-stack button. If the button pushes, call. If a raise comes from anyone other than the button, fold.
My goal on this hand would be either to limp into a flop or to try to bust the short-stack. |

If there are limps behind I usually limp along. The only reason I think this hand is close is because I'm UTG and have so many potential pushers to worry about. It's also a pain to play 99 post flop out of position if I get called. |
