Default $6.50: bubble decision

Villain has not been auto-stealing, and has actually limped in from SB a few times. He called an all-in for 1200 in a raised pot on flop of 2-3-4 with A3, so he likes to call. I felt like I might have some FE if he has complete crap but I'm probably getting called like 80 - 90% of the time...

Easy shove over. With blinds this big and a monster hand, no way I am laying this down. You are way ahead of his range IMO.

I shove. He's probably calling with a ton of hands that you are way ahead of. Your to short to fold ITM but this is going to depend on how everyone else has been playing.

I pushed, but it felt close with little or no FE and shorty having ~1000 in the BB next hand.

For pairs, I think TT is a closer call and 99 is where I'm lost, leaning towards folding. I'm folding less than 99.

I'm interested what others call ranges are here...

Depends what you think his minraise range is. If he has ANY idea what he is doing he should be raising a very wide rangee here.

This is closer than I first thought. Assuming you have no FE so he just puts you AI, if he's raising 40% then your call range is JJ+. If he raises 100% it is 88+. Very interestingly, AK is a fold here even if he raises 100% and never folds to a push.

I doubt you have any fold equity here, shove and expect to see AT+... and an Ace on the river.

Thanks for the numbers. I remember reading another thread about why AK is a fold in these situations. The edge is much smaller against random hands than it is if you hold a medium or big pair. So when villain has a really wide range or is pushing any two, like in this hand, the edge AK gives isnt big enough in alot of bubble spots.

I hate it but i would push this. He will call you 100% of the time, but you have his range crushed. If UTG was under 1 BB i would fold.
