What video game record should I try to beat?
For those who don't know, www.twingalaxies.com is pretty good at keeping video game records. Unfortunately, the search feature is finicky, so you have to type in exactly "Pac-Man", while "pac man" will return nothing.
I'd like to go after one of the classics. Probably, the best record I have in mind right now is the all-time high score for Ms. Pac-Man. My understanding is that because the fruits are randomized, a high score in Ms. Pac-Man is pretty much determined by whoever happens to get the most bananas to come out. I also really liked the game "Crazy Taxi", but I find it annoying that a lot of the records have artificial rules imposed on them (no continuous backdrift, etc.). I used to routinely get over $100k in Crazy Taxi, but that was using continuous backdrift. Also, I know a lot of people are going to want to post the record that they would like to beat. Either way, I think it would be awesome if someone winds up beating a record due to this thread. |

The OP made a remote controlled bowling ball and entered the US Open. I don't think he is getting out-nerded by anyone.
