Default Notes

I'm wondering who considers themselves a great notetaker. Have we ever had a notes thread in this forum? I find myself just putting random stuff in the note box.

I think I am pretty good at notetaking, I have developed some kind of system for this. If you are interested, I can try to collect all my abbreviations and post them here?

Bisonbison did a notemaking post a long while back, but not sure where that is. I think it's an excellent subject to do here.

PErsonally, I make quite verbose notes about specific notable/exploitable/unusual plays made, but only when I 1/2-table.

TJC, the first part is the one I was referring to, have to take a look at the second part. Still I think a "notes thread" would be a good thing...

Can you give an example or two?

I usually take notes if villain stacks himself easily, so that I can make bigger bets and bet hands which I might not against a tighter player. I also make notes on how they play their sets & draws and if their 3-betting range differs from what I'd expect.
