It strikes me as very British to ignore the wishes 90% of your market base.

"If wishes were horses, beggars would ride"

Do you seriously think that a publishing company made a conscious decision to tell the vast majority of its potential market to screw off? I don't have a clue what happened, but I can only assume that they made a decision based on the available information, and that there were unavoidable delays. As Mason said, you want to get to market ASAP with a time-sensitive product.

In the modern information age, even our "very British" brethren across the pond understand that. Do you honestly think that the folks at D & B don't understand that the vast majority of their potential market is US players? What possible reason would they have to make a conscious decision to ignore the American market until the Euro community was served?

I ordered this book. If it is a good book it will be worth the wait. If they save money by printing it in one place or another, more power to them.

Frankly, there are a lot of fruit cakes in the books and publications corner of 2 plus 2, who I doubt can play a lick but who obsess on books.

Good News. I received an invoice showing the books shipped to me last week. I should have them Tuesday or Wednesday.

I take back all the bad things I ever said about you. Well actually I never said anything bad about you. I have always been well satisfied with my purchases and your service.

Steamboatin, please make sure that if you have the time, you let us know what you think of the books. In particular the shorthanded book.

I am not likely to buy the shorthanded book. I mostly play live and short tables break quickly at most casinos.

I already know I will like Barry's book, that is part of the reason I was in a hurry.
