There\'s a monkey in the jungle, Baluga hand
Put this donk on a hand. He's like 50/10 and earlier he completed from the SB vs my BB, I raised 75s he called. Flop was like 456, he c/c. Turn an 8 for my staight, he c/c pot. River a 4 he check folds when I shoved for a lot and said "lol I know my eights are good."

Re: There\'s a monkey in the jungle, Baluga hand
damn. I just keep seeing some weak-tight advice in SSNL and people over-applying the Baluga theorem wrt turn raises and I wanted to be like "LOL NITS he had 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for the reverse float no pair no draw, stop folding when donks are trying to donate!" which he did do. gg

Re: There\'s a monkey in the jungle, Baluga hand
I usually push the turn, but I think your line is much better against an aggro donk.

Re: There\'s a monkey in the jungle, Baluga hand
Why doesn't anyone consider pushing the turn? There are a lot of cards I'd rather not see on the river and we are committed anyway.
Edit: Looks like I am late to the party. I need to learn to type quicklier (quicker? more quickly?). |
