every decision is debatable
5-bet game in vegas, 1/2 blind structure
weak-tight UTG raises, spazzy unthinking LAG who loves to choose horrible spots to bluff 3-bets in the CO, i call with JJ in the SB flop is 985r, i check, UTG donks, LAG calls, i call. turn is a 6 putting a flush draw up, i donk, UTG thinks for a long time then almost folds but decides to call, LAG raises, i look left and see UTG is really upset so i just call. |

Re: every decision is debatable
I dont mind everything else (probably donk or cr flop), but I would 3bet the turn and get it head up with the LAG.

Re: every decision is debatable
believe it or not, you're usually losing when the lag raises the turn here. This is just a board and situation where lags don't f around. 3-betting is not really as good an option as you hint at in your post bc your hand is prob not worth enough to try and knock utg off TT+ imo.
That said, calling and folding aren't that appealing either so maybe you have to 3-bet. If you do, I think you have to c/f the river UI and that's gonna be kinda hard to do. Gonna think about this one some more and write back manana... oh and 4-bet pf so we don't have to think so hard next time dude. |

Re: every decision is debatable
I'd donk the flop here. If UTG is weak tight, his reaction to your bet is gonna define his hand for you. He likely wouldn't raise AK, so if he does raise my guess would be a bigger pp. As played, I still put him on a bigger pp, and if you feel you have laggy beat, 3 bet turn to make sure you drive weaky out.
