Re: turn 2 pair facing river push
Easy river call.
Easy pre-flop fold IMO. |

Re: turn 2 pair facing river push
U cant fold this after the turn.
Raising hands like this pf will get you in spots like this alot and without Daniel Negranue postflop reading skills its very hard too play it profitable. Why put yourself in unnessesary difficult spots when villians are calling with 10 7 pf and calling the flop with second pair and stacking of with weak 2 pr hands. |

[/ QUOTE ] Not bitching about the situation, just wondering if there are enough hands in villain's range that could beat me where this could turn into a -EV situation. I'm not going to fold this hand preflop just because everyone else would, we all have are own styles of play. I asked if, "as played" what advice would be suggested. I'm not asking for advice on how to play AA from the button, or any other premium hand in an ABC TAG player's range. FYI, i'm at 26PT/100BB's at 5NL through 3,000 hands so I hardly think my prelop hand selection is a huge leak. Yes, this may be a poor preflop play in most people's arsenal (definitely at higher limits), but maybe playing a hand an opponent doesn't place in my range every once in a while is a decent idea. Sounds like I call as played sweet!....all other static is definitely n/a. |

Re: turn 2 pair facing river push
3000 hands is nothing. Please don't think you're God at these stakes. I've been running like this for 20k hands on micro stakes. Your preflop hand selection with 200BB stacks (which is the max buyin at Stars afaik) matters less, but it still is a huge leak, cutting into your LONGTERM winrate.
As played, I raise the flop as a continuation bet, to 1.20-1.60. 0.40 into a 1.40 pot? If you play T7o from the button, play it right and use your stealing equity. As played, I put in a pot-sized raise on the turn, which effectively makes moving in on the river a no-brainer. As played, I call the river. You pretty much committed on the turn, even though you sized your bets so awkwarly that BB could move in as a 2/3PSB. Please try to avoid such situations by sizing your bets correctly. |
