Re: Steps on Stars

I heard say something that pokerstars would not just delete your tickets if you didn't play but instead give you something else. Any ideas on this? [/ QUOTE ] also, the solution to this is to have STEPS for other events such as WSOP or Monte-Carlo, etc, and allow unused pca tickets to be used for those. |

Re: Steps on Stars
No, no word yet, AFAIK on what they'll do with tickets caught in limbo when Steps to PCA end, but they won't transfer, exchange, or any other equivalent for tickets or seats won. Also, if you do win a PCA seat, you must play it.
As far as others saying cash-out tickets for W$ that totally defeats the purpose of Steps. Yes, it would be nice to start at step 1 and turn $7 into W$2100 and stop playing there, but the steps tournies drive the lower level fish up through the steps. Imagine this: 9 Step 1 single tables start with the worst 81 players in the world, 18 winners move onto Step 2 despite them being the worst in the world. Of those 18, 4 more advance to Step 3, so on and so on. So, even a bad player can get lucky, and is effectively forced up through the steps. Not saying the $2100 Step 6 will be soft, but all of those Step 1 and Step 2's you see running, just means players are being fed up the steps and must play the higher levels now. |

Re: Steps on Stars
the 7.50$ step was the most ridiculous sng i have ever played. 3 guys all in within first orbit, and 4 handed a guy flops a boat and checks the whole way.
cant wait to hit step 5 and be the crappy 7.50 player you are all talking about =] |

Re: Steps on Stars
theres gota be an incentive for players to use their higher up tickets instead of just waiting for the promo to end and then cash em out in watever way they can then...
