I still 3bet preflop for value and for strategical reasons. When the action is on you, you still have a decent chance to get this pot 3 handed assuming the BB folds and the UTG player will fold his trash once in a while. Tens play very well 3 handed so thats what im shooting for, and if the BB calls or the UTG calls or they both call, im ok with this too. I still got a lot of money in the pot with a very strong hand.

FLOP: I would also check/call, im not sure if youre losing yet. Getting 14-1 closing the action, im seeing a turn card.

TURN: On that card I would bet and see what happens, hoping the BB has just 9x or a draw.

RIVER: Given the way this hand has developed. Good value bet.

I would 3bet preflop but I like the way you played this hand postflop. I don't anticipate the turn getting checked around very often.

I agree that the turn is almost never getting checked around in the typical online game. This idea definitely supports checking the turn and seeing the action.

ilovepoker,

are you implying a bet/fold on the turn?
or do you mean bet and evaluate if raised?

I would definitely go with bet and evaluate. Everything depends on the action and my read on the turn aggressor.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I have been tyring to slow down preflop vs the norm of capping 99-JJ vs multi-way action. If I donk the turn Llama and gte raise I feel I have to fold what are your thoughts on this play?

If I donk the turn

Donking the turn is no good in my opinion. This is an anomaly that the turn got checked around. Checking allows you to stay out of trouble when someone raises before it gets back to you. If you do did donk, then in most cases I think you would need to fold to a raise.

everyone okay w/ calling the flop, even after a bettor and two callers? We may well be behind (although it is unclear), and with straight draws and flush draws out, our two outs could well be tainted. put me down for folding the flop.
